The Parent
Training
and Information Center (PTIC) is a Program of theWestchester
Independent Living Center (WILC) and its satellite office, Putnam Independent
Living Services (PILS).
PTIC informs parents of children with special needs
about their rights in the education system.
It provides training, advocacy,
technical assistance, and information and referral services in Dutchess,
Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, and Westchester counties.
Separate trainings and workshops are offered for professionals who work
with children with disabilities and their families. |
